Cabinet providers differ in how they measure, specify, manufacture and install a project. Compare each proposal on the same room and scope before comparing the total.
Start with the room
- Who records wall dimensions, openings, columns, sockets and plumbing points?
- Are the cabinet layout and door swings shown in a drawing before production?
- How are site changes handled if the room differs from the initial information?
Name the materials and fittings
- Which board, door finish and edge treatment are included?
- Which hinge, drawer runner and storage accessory models are specified?
- For kitchens, is the countertop included? Caramella's current kitchen countertop offering is quartz stone.
Understand fabrication and installation
Ask where the cabinet parts are made, which fabrication steps are included, who installs them, and what the quote excludes. If a provider describes a machine, material grade or process, ask for the exact model or specification that applies to your project.
Read aftercare terms before approving
Ask who handles adjustments, replacement parts and warranty requests, how to contact them, and what the written terms cover. Keep the answers alongside the approved layout and finish choices.
A simple comparison checklist
Use the same dimensions and requested features when collecting proposals. Compare the written scope, named materials and fittings, installation responsibilities, payment schedule and aftercare terms.
